Anyone know when they stopped carrying unit colors at NMF? "Sabres, guidons and unit colors" used to be the standard, with unit colors only occasionally being dropped. I think it depended on the UOD. - Tarfu92 19:55, 20 March 2007 (PST)

Same with D&B: As I remember it, the Academy band (enlisted) and D&B (cadet)both used to do NMF (they would alternate), but the Band would do all of the parades. For cost-cutting measures, maybe in the early 90s, I remember seeing that the Band got absorbed into some other AF musical unit, and the Academy went to primarily D&B, presumably always for NMF. Don't know if parades were any different. Anyone who knows the timing and the details, please add. - Tarfu92 19:55, 20 March 2007 (PST)
