Didn't LPL burn down one year then get rebuilt?

Also there is the BBQ pit just down the road from the lodge. I remember having a bbq there during summer sci.

I have this vague memory that Lawrence Paul was a cadet who died during BCT. Does anyone know? It was originally a picnic area and a walking trail. I remember my class spending a day at the end of BCT working on the trail.
