[edit] Chart

I put this together from Hector's info and the individual squadron stand-up dates. Please edit if you know differently! - Tarfu92 09:09, 26 September 2006 (PDT)

[edit] AY 67-68

In going through Hector's inputs here, the Mike Sheridan book of USAFA patch history, and the class/squadron rosters on USAFA Today, it looks like there was a point where CS-29 and CS-30 were added, but not 31 and 32 until a year later, leaving the number of squadrons non-divisible by four. Does anyone know--was there in fact a year (it would have been the 67-68 academic year) where there were uneven groups? - Tarfu92 04:15, 14 April 2007 (PDT)

[edit] Recent programs

A question for the more recent grads--is Global Engagement its own group? How is it organized? I assume CST (like SERE) was its own group also? - Tarfu92 08:09, 25 July 2007 (CDT)

[edit] Group insignia and mottos

Did I hear or see somewhere that insignia had been developed for each of the groups? If so does anyone have them? And what about group mottos? I remember sort of informal ones (something along the lines of "First group first"; "Second group-second to none"; "Fourth group leads the way" and something for third group that I forget.) Is that still around, and did it ever become more formalized in any way? - Tarfu92 11:14, 19 December 2007 (CST)

I put 1st, 2nd, and 4th Group mottos in, but I can't remember 3rd's. There are insignia for them, but the only times I have ever seen them on patches were on the 2nd Group AOC's flight suit and up on the wall in the Barbershop. There are paintings of the 2nd Group logo in a couple places, I'll see if I can get a picture after Christmas break.--Dave09 11:52, 19 December 2007 (CST)
