Table commandant
From USAFA Folklore
The Table Commandant is the cadet who sits at the head of the table in Mitchell Hall during a meal. The table commandant is often (but not always) the senior ranking cadet at the table, and is nearly always a Firstie. The Table Commandant is in charge of maintaining good order and discipline at the table, and may be held accountable for things that happen at his or her table. Fourth class cadets are required to get the permission of the Table Commandant before performing certain activities at the table.
