Stract
From USAFA Folklore
Stract (normally used as an adjective, and alternatively spelled "strack", "stracked", or "strac") is cadet slang for an unusually high degree of sharpness, personal appearance, attention to detail, adherence to regulations, or toolishness. Joe Strack, a cartoon character who appeared in the Dodo, was considered the epitome of this demeanor.
The etymology of this term is unknown, but there are some indications that it may have started as an acronym standing for "Skilled, Trained (or Tough), and Ready Around the Clock" or that it may have originally been short for "Strategic Army Corps", a one-time elite airborne unit. Another explanation is that it is a combination of "strict" and "exact."
