Stereo wars

On weekends or summer evenings, cadets would turn their speakers out their windows and crank up the volume. Often cadets from another squadron on the other side of the quad would take this as a challenge and escalate the stereo war by returning with loud music of their own choosing. The challenge was to eliminate all evidence of such noisy rebellion before the Command Post detail could respond.
