Reconditioning

Reconditioning is a program for cadets who have failed the Physical Fitness Test. On non-Intramural days, cadets in the reconditioning program do extra physical training to prepare to retake the PFT until they are able to pass.

Reconditioning is sometimes called "R-Flight" or "Recondo"; the latter smacks of irony, because over the summer, many cadets voluntarily attend the physically challenging Recondo Course, run by the U.S. Army at Fort Carson.
