Hail damage
From USAFA Folklore
It is common to have hail storms in the spring at USAFA. Because cadets are forced to park their cadet cars in an uncovered parking lot, cadets often get hail damage to their cars. Some cadets have called the insurance recovery for the hail damage to their cars their USAA graduation presents. Because the cadets are not provided covered parking, the 10 ABW is required to pay the insurance deductible for any hail damage -- however, this fact is carefully hidden from the cadet wing.
Rumor has it that USAA offered to build a parking garage in place of the lots as it would be cheaper than paying out insurance claims. Supposedly this has been rejected due to the presence of endangered field mice that live on the Academy grounds.
Hail damage is also a slang term that refers to the dimpled appearance of a chubby woman's thighs.
