Dancing bear
From USAFA Folklore
A dancing bear was a cadet in the 70s who readily identified with and supported the cadet command system, and usually participated in it. The term dancing bear derives from the cadets' willingness to do anything directed by the chain of command, no matter how ridiculous, like trained circus bears. Members of group and Wing Staff were universally identified as dancing bears. See also "strivers", "pissing blue", "tool", etc.
