Composite Group

The Composite Group (also called "Comp Group" or "Chomp Group") is a summer cadet group composed of the squadrons that are not part of Operations Group, Basic Cadet Training Group or (when it existed) SERE.

Every summer, a handful of cadets would get randomly generated for one summer period of Comp Group duty, which generally meant either working Command Post, CCQ, or other administrative duty for one of the Composite Group squadrons. For accountability reporting purposes, it is usually the "catch-all" group for cadets in student squadron, Ops Air Force, and other programs such as Sports Camp.
